This time nine years ago, I felt the sun on my face and stood hand in hand as I married my best friend. I don't think I would have known then just how much love our hearts are capable of experiencing. Looking back, and remembering all of the people who love us surrounding us in celebration was more meaningful than they will ever know!
Thank you to my amazingly wonderful husband for always standing by me, supporting me no matter the crazy idea I have. I could not imagine sharing with anyone else in the world the moments of life we have created together. I look into our son's eyes and know that with you as his guide, he will become a strong, patient, loyal and loving man, all that his father is!
My love for you and our life is ever growing and is deeper now than that afternoon on the beaches of Mexico!
Actress Rebecca Creskoff's newest role as mommy

You might recognize the beautiful face of tv actress and new mommy Rebecca Creskoff in these images. Rebecca starred in the tv series Hung, Curb Your Enthusiasm and Mad Men among others.
The talented and oh so lovely Rebecca asked me to photograph her baby girl this past winter at her home with husband Dr. Michael Glassner. Michael is the Division Head of Infertility for Main Line Health System and founding partner of Main Line Fertility and Reproductive Medicine The natural light came pouring in even as the cold rain tapped on the windows of their bedroom. I loved photographing these sweet and tender moments between them.

Philadelphia Union League Wedding  When I met Liz and Paul last year to photograph their wedding, I fell in love! I photographed their engagement portraits in Avalon, NJ and built an even stronger relationship. So, when the wedding finally came this past December it was no surprise how lovely it was to be there! It is not always easy to let your guard down to be photographed on such an intimate day, but they were so much in love & I am not sure if they even realized we were there at all. Hello everyone. I promise to start posting again. It's been a wonderful year and I have so many beautiful moments and images that I would like to share with you. I wanted to take a moment to share images from this fun engagement photo shoot.
We have been fortunate to be published multiple times and photograph in some amazing locations over the past year and I've just been editing and shooting to keep up with the holidays. Our son Luca just turned two and he is a precious little boy. So let's call this post the first of getting back into the Sarah DiCicco Blog. Happy New Year!

I created this photo book of some of my favorite images from previous years, I thought I would share it with you! Whenever I am feeling slightly tired or uncreative, I look at this book and remind myself "oh yeah, I can take pretty pictures". I am creating volumes and hope to make a 2012 book soon!

The day is almost here!
My darling sister Hannah is marrying the man of her dreams this upcoming October. Hannah's fiancé Joe is a man's kind of man! But more importantly, he's Hannah's man! Joe is a real-life cowboy, you know one of those people that actually jump onto the back of bucking horse and hold on for 8 seconds... seriously!
Hannah has not only been given the gift of music, but the gift of a very large heart! As her sister, I have always felt the need to protect her, given the fact she trusts everyone and loves openly. I can honestly say I have never seen anyone protect a gift like Hannah the way Joe does! My family and I could not be more blessed & excited to have Joe joining our family. Or as my little Luca calls them Auntie Vi and Unc Joe!
All of the photos were taken on our farm, Joe's family's farm and a friends pond.

This is my favorite time of year, photographing engagement portraits! Julie and Brian drove to an orchard close to my farm in Berks County. Who says running around un-mowed grass and mud is not sexy? They even make blowing dandelions look hot! You might notice the truck looking familiar from previous shoots, I have worked a deal with the farmer to allow my clients special access to the property. How wonderful is that!
And a little thank you to Brian for your service! I am so excited for the wedding & you are not just Julie's hero!

I have worked on putting together albums that would display both my style and provide an heirloom piece that would protect my clients photographs in an elegant distinctive way. My clients expect quality and when it comes to giving my clients over 1000 retouched fine art images, I wanted to produce something that was one of a kind. My new heirloom albums are hand made for my clients with as much love and craftsmanship that I put into creating my photographs. I cannot express how happy it makes me to see all of these beautiful moments bound together with linen and bows!

Earlier this month, I took a wonderful vacation with my family and friends. We stayed at the most amazing villa, Villa Piton! This Villa is own by friends of ours and I can see why they consider it their second home!
