Okay, can I just say how excited I am to be in Town and Country Wedding this issue? Who said dream boards don’t work? A goal set by myself and Tony was to get published in Town & Country Weddings this year…. Well, it actually happened in February! Not only do we have a full-page ad, but also we are featured in the Aisle Style Section! My girl Sylvia, at the magazine, has been such an amazing inspiration.

We were just published in our third national magazine since February.

" Sooo Cute" is how I describe my one couple, Jamie and Jeff. Their wedding reception took place at the Crystal Tea Room in Center City Philadelphia! The wedding was exquisitely designed by Donna Strug and also the mother of the bride and mother of the groom. The breathtaking flowers were created by Ten Pennies and the custom lighting by Eventions Productions. CTO Manhattan provided the musical entertainment for the evening. They were marvelous and rocked late into the night!

With Jeff having a little trick up his sleeve for his new bride, the couple took to the dance floor for their first dance. For months prior, the only song Jamie had wanted to hear for her first dance was "Stay", by Hannah Violet. She was certain that no matter how wonderful CTO would perform the song, it wouldn't be the same. With their hands holding tight and a ballroom filled with loved ones, out of nowhere Hannah took to the stage! Jamie's eyes filled with tears and with a stunned expression on her face, they began their first dance! The guests quickly faded into the background and Jamie and Jeff danced to their private performance. This was the first surprise Jeff had been able to pull of in 8 years. I was so excited that my younger sister was able to create a moment that will be treasured for a lifetime!

What do you do when you are going to Vegas for WPPI (Wedding and Portrait Photographers International)? Well, if you're Sarah DiCicco Photography, you organize a music video in the desert, with a vintage car. Wouldn’t you??? I know it sounds crazy, but it was amazing! Hannah Violet is a very talented country singer and songwriter. You can hear her music on some of my slideshows and at www.hannahviolet.com. She is recording a new album and I convinced her to pack up and head out to Vegas while I was out there. It was easy to convince her (she is also my sister). The hunk in this video is Jeremiah James, who said ”yes”, as soon as Hannah asked him (on short notice) to come to Vegas. He chased her down in the middle of the desert while driving a vintage "Pontiac Star Chief". So,we had everything… the talent; the location; the makeup artist (Jenna) and the music! Now, what do you do when you need the best cinematographer to shoot this amazing video? You call Dave, at Dave Williams Films. Dave pulled through again for us and it was great to see him and his crew do their thing. I’m so excited to see the video. The music video crew was Abad Rosa, Jordan Oplinger, Matthew Jappsen and Dave Williams. In the past 4 months, “wonderfully exhausted'', is how I replied to people inquiring to how I am! With the title, “International Wedding Photographer'', quite a bit of travel is to be expected, but WOW! Over the past 4 months, Tony and I traveled to Las Vegas, Los Angeles & Santa Barbara, Palm Beach, Manhattan & Tulum, Mexico and New Orleans for jazz fest! We still had time to meet with our clients in Philadelphia.
