I have known Julie's family for a couple of years. I had photographed Julie's sister Laura's wedding three years ago. After Laura's wedding, Laura had worked with Tony, my husband, as a graphic designer. We became great friends! So when it came time for Julie's wedding, I was so excited when they asked me to photograph the event. Maria & Casey's wedding at the Union League in Philadelphia was an absolute blast to photograph. We photographed several weddings weeks before Casey and Maria's that were filled with quite a bit of drama. There were power failures, storms, entire bands not showing up and most of this happening without wedding planners. When that happens, Tony and I willingly jump right into planner/photographer mode. A Happy Bride is a Pretty Bride! So for Maria & Casey's wedding, the wonderful Mark Kindsdorf of Queen of Hearts was at the helm! Tony and I have been friends with the groom's family "The Dacanay's" for well over 10 years. We have been blessed to be good friends with his brother & sister-in-law and we watched Ken, or as I know him "Kenny", grow up into a man. Ken called me when he became engaged to Jenny; I was ecstatic for them! Ken told Jen that she could have anything she wanted for their wedding, but the one thing he was not willing to compromise on was the photographer.  Page and Mac had such wonderful ideas for their wedding from the day we first met. There was meaning and thought behind every little detail and location the couple picked. The wedding was held in New Hope, PA. Following the ceremony, we stopped at two picturesque locations. The first stop was at Solebury Orchard. Mac & Page's normal weekend routine includes a stop there, where they pick their fruit for the upcoming week. It was only fitting that we started there for their portraits.
