Philadelphia Union League Wedding  When I met Liz and Paul last year to photograph their wedding, I fell in love! I photographed their engagement portraits in Avalon, NJ and built an even stronger relationship. So, when the wedding finally came this past December it was no surprise how lovely it was to be there! It is not always easy to let your guard down to be photographed on such an intimate day, but they were so much in love & I am not sure if they even realized we were there at all. I am a true romantic! The wedding of Jessica and Truly was beyond breathtaking & I am still overwhelmed with emotion as I play with their images for their books.
More than a wedding!

Last week I had the extreme pleasure of meeting Louise and George. Sadly Louise has battled illness all of her life and has developed incurable lung disease! I have been moved to tears many times behind my lens, but this time is different. I am honestly blessed to be able to photograph a bride and groom on the start of a life together, but with Louise and George, it is a slightly different story.
I am in awe of their love for each other and humbled by their experiences in life. I cannot begin to go into details about all of the heart ache and loss they have both lived through & to still hear Louise say that this is the happiest time in her life... Really, enough said! This level of love is around us at all times, but it is sad to think that we do not let it overwhelm us until we actually have the sweetness of life in our hands for just that moment!!!
I am photographing George & Louise's Wedding Tomorrow evening as a gift! I am so excited to witness these two lovebirds finally get married!

On August 12th Tony and I photographed the stunning Laurie and Derik for their wedding at the Atrium in the Curtis Building. There is so much I love about this couple! Mostly their combined love for sports (yes that is Trent Cole), love for champagne and love of photographs! Sunny & Chris had a beautiful wedding! Sunny wanted to create a very stylized look with her wedding photographs. Searching for the perfect location at which to take portraits, Sunny & Chris followed the route that would take them from the church to the reception. In doing so, they saw an old, amazing barn located on private property. Sunny and Chris approached the house there and knocked on the door and asked "Would you mind if we stopped here for our wedding photographs"? The homeowner was flattered and said "YES". Only 4 weeks after having my baby, Luca, Tony and I were right back into the swing of things photographing weddings! To top it off, it was on New Years Eve!
Missy and FJ's wedding was held at the Bellevue Hotel in Philadelphia. This is the first New Years wedding I have ever photographed. Typically I take the night off to enjoy with my family and friends, but Missy and I hit it off so much that I could not say no! read more...

Two weekends ago in the 110 degree heat wave that rolled through Philadelphia, I was fortunate to work with Dave Williams, the man behind the camera. He captured our bride and groom so beautifully! I have known Julie's family for a couple of years. I had photographed Julie's sister Laura's wedding three years ago. After Laura's wedding, Laura had worked with Tony, my husband, as a graphic designer. We became great friends! So when it came time for Julie's wedding, I was so excited when they asked me to photograph the event.
