What's a Little Rain...

Here are some images from the Wedding of Anna & Kerry.

Anna & Kerry were married September 6th, on her parents' beautiful estate, on the Main Line. Anna's father had been hard at work in preparation of his only daughter's wedding for over a year. The backdrop a newly cleared tree grove for the ceremony and cocktails by the pool. Hurricane Hanna had slightly different plans!

As the steady rain began to fall, Anna's home began to fill with the sounds of her wedding day. The sounds of her girlfriends' chatter in different languages and the humming of hairdryers.

The tapping of the rain on the tent sounded in symphony with the string quartet. The room filled with friends from around the globe and the day was beautiful! Anna and Kerry partied the night away with three wedding cakes and hundreds of paper lanterns floating overhead. When all came to a close you realize; What is a little rain when you are in the arms of the one you love!

Thank you Sarah for capturing so many elements of the day… from getting ready with my girls to the torrential downpour to mahem on the dancefloor - you got it all! I think you may have even captured the exact moment on the front steps when we realized the power had gone out! What an amazing day with such great memories - many many thanks to your team for capturing it without us even realizing it. Let’s go back and do it again!!!

What a lovely couple - they have enough sunshine to drown out any hurricane. I love the black & white shot of Grete(her mom) hugging her from behind as they were getting ready. I was behind the scenes doing work with the flowers - and left once the tent was transformed from ceremony to reception space. Nobody seemed to notice the rain - there was so much love in the group.
The photos are amazing - they really capture the fun that was had by all. Congratulations, Priscilla & John
