That's Love Oct. 30, 2009

Lisa & Ryan's wedding was absolutely beautiful and planned to the tee! They actually gave us over 2 hours to run around the city to do portraits after the ceremony. We hit all of our favorite spots and some new ones. Because of Lisa's perfect planning, we were back at the hotel way before cocktail hour. Little did we know it was going to turn into "cocktail hours". As vendors, we are quite acclimated to eating very late in the evening. So when the maitre d' at the Westin told us we could eat, we were extremely excited. We thought, "WOW", we can eat without missing a single thing. Our bride was freshening up and our groom was hanging out with his guys relaxing. How wonderful; for a second... Then we realized the band was not setting up equipment, and hadn't even arrived, for that matter. We were quick to realize that the band was a "no show". It was really great to see the whole staff at the Westin respond so quickly. I was pretty sure that no one wanted to hear my singing voice, so I called my friend Dave from DVideography, and he listed off people for me to call. So, between myself and Albert (the videographer from Elegant Imagery), we hit the jackpot! We landed Jason, of Silver Sound DJ's, to save the day! Lisa & Ryan took it all in stride. They held hands and said "it does not matter what happens, this is our wedding and NOTHING can ruin it"! Not even an entire band NOT SHOWING!!! Now, that's love!
Note to my other brides: It also goes to show that no matter how perfectly you plan your perfect wedding, it is a true testament to you as a couple, how well you respond to imperfections. Lisa and Ryan responded with true grace and benevolence.

Dear Sarah,
I am a friend of the DeStefanos and the person who made the bridal bouquet. It is hard to type as the tears run down my face.
I have seen plenty of weddings in my career but no one has ever captured the pure essence of such a special event.
What a beautiful family and what a great job you did getting it all ....perfectly.
Thank You,
Gina |

Dear Sarah,
I'm speechless, they are beautiful. I could listen and watch the slide show all day! It was such a happy day and it shows. Thank you.
