Amy and Brian had the most perfect late summer wedding in Ocean City, NJ. Tony and I knew the day with Amy and Brian was going to be lighthearted and fun. In the slideshow, you will notice a handkerchief with a piece of red fabric attached. This little momento is from a very special piece of the groom's childhood. Brian wore a red superman cape everywhere he went as a child, so it was only appropriate that there was a piece of it with him on his wedding day adventure. The reception was held at the Flanders Hotel & they did a beautiful job. In the main ballroom there is a stunning painting of a bride getting into her gown. It is the perfect setting for a romantic beach wedding. They even surprised the couple with an over-the-top candy station at the end of the night. Also, we were lucky to get to shoot with the crew of DVideography. 

As the sun went down, I asked the newlyweds if they wanted to run out to the boardwalk for dusk portraits & they were game.  As we headed into the amusement park, I noticed the swings were empty. I found a security guard and he tracked down the manager, who opened the ride up for us. I knew we were not going to sit this one out! I am still surprised that we convinced Jordan from DVideography to jump on the ride with us. I really didn't think it was going to be hard shooting backwards on a ride, looking through my camera's viewfinder, but boy was I wrong!  When the ride came to an end, not a minute to soon, we all laughed like we were 5 experiencing an amusement park for the first time.
